Philosophy
At Mehr Dekar, we believe that the earliest years of a child’s life are the most important for fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. Guided by the principles of Play-Based Learning, Reggio Emilia, and Montessori philosophies, our program is designed to support each child’s unique development in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Our approach emphasizes exploration and hands-on experiences. Through carefully prepared activities such as circle time, art projects, outdoor play, and sensory exploration children are encouraged to discover, experiment, and express themselves creatively. We honor the natural rhythm of young children by providing three nutritious meals, including morning and afternoon snacks, ensuring their physical needs are met alongside their emotional and cognitive growth.
With a low teacher-to-child ratio of 2 ECE professionals for 8 children, we provide individualized attention, fostering strong, trusting relationships that help children feel safe and confident. Our environment is intentionally designed to be child-centered, allowing children to make choices, engage in meaningful play, and develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills at their own pace.
